UTTERANCE

Through my screen prints I have explored the symbols and archetypes present in tales and considered their meaning within my life. I have revisited well-known narratives, passages from old legends collected by French author Charles Perrault. Combining photography, screen printing, drawing, painting, object and text, my images echo one into another, creating a rhythm and a new narrative in which the hero “who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself”* reaches for their noblest humanity.
